Inbal Orpaz is a researcher at Lipkin Shahak program at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS), a strategic consultant in the fields of innovation and start-ups and a public speaker. She is focused on marketing, recruitment and the future of work, establishing entrepreneurial ecosystems, and women employment.
Founder of the “#WomanInTech” initiative to promote women in high-tech. A former senior high-tech correspondent for TheMarker, where she covered a variety of topics, including entrepreneurship and venture capital investments, the diversity in tech, the social role of high-tech as a growth engine, multinational companies and homeland security technologies.
She was elected to the Forbes Under30 list for 2017 and to the list of the 100 most influential people in the Israeli high-tech of Geektime in 2015. She holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University, and participated in the international exchange student program in New York University (NYU); She holds a BA in Film Studies (cum laude) and Economics from Tel Aviv University.
